Indication: Found mostly in patients who have Morvan’s syndrome
Background: CASPR2 is one of the VGKC-complex proteins. Antibodies to CASPR2 are found mostly in patients who have Morvans syndrome (Irani et al Brian 2010; Irani et al Ann Neurol 2012). They have also been found recently in some patients with cerebellar ataxia not necessarily with VGKC-complex precipitating antibodies (Becker at al JNNP 2012)
