Pathology Contacts
The South of Tyne and Wear Clinical Pathology Service operates across three laboratory sites, and as such the contact details are split below depending upon which site you wish to contact.
- City Hospitals Sunderland has an acute laboratory with Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion on site.
- South Tyneside Hospital has an acute laboratory with Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion on site.
- Gateshead Hospital has a laboratory with Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology and Cellular Pathology on site. This laboratory carries out all of the GP and community work for the three CCGs and is the Regional Centre for the processing of HPV Samples.
